Hi all.But who decided it’s a good idea to rake down to dirt. When the wind comes up we will become a dust bowl. Had my truck washed. Came home to find that a property that needed upkeep was being raked to the ground. Wind came up and blew dirt and heavy dust on my vehicle. This is going to create dirty houses, not to mention breathing problems for some people with health issues. I’m sure I remember at an annual meeting that we were told by the forester speaker. It’s a good idea to leave some pine needles on the ground even if there is a fire. I could be wrong. But that’s what I remember. And whether you like it or not. You have to do your roof and ground more than once a year. I do. Hav e a good day!
Thanks Mark, I wished as many cared about our community like you and Colleen. Regarding Needles vs bare dirt. I like what you have going on in your front yard to keep the weeds and the dust down. Where did you get the chips?
From my experience it’s tough to rake while leaving a few Pine needles down. I rake, wait 10 days and voila! I have Pine needles or little dingle berries or both.
Everyone should now pave their driveways, since we are quickly getting built out.
Thanks for joining in Mark, I wish more people would speak their minds!
This is what communication is all about!
